Why do we create our coffee drip bag product?
Share
One day, my wife—exhausted and overwhelmed—shouted, “I have no time!” She was trying to make coffee, but all we had were beans and a grinder. No time to grind, no time to brew.
At the time, we had a three-month-old baby and were buried under work and childcare. That’s when I had an idea: I started putting the blend coffees I’d been collecting into drip bags. It was a small thing, but I thought—at the very least—it was something my wife really needed.
Fortunately, I had a collection of blended coffees roasted by small, independent roasteries I had visited.
I had visited more than 100 roasteries in Japan and tasted over 50 different kinds of blended coffee. From all of them, I carefully chose two blends that stood out.
Because, as any experienced parent might know, childcare has a way of becoming urgent and unpredictable. You never know when it’ll get hectic—or how long it’ll last. I’ve lost count of how many times I brewed a cup of coffee, only to have the baby start crying, and then finally ended up sipping it cold two hours later when things had calmed down.
That’s why we created our coffee bland — not just for convenience, but for "cool of the day".
"The 'cool of the day' is the most refreshing time—calm, quiet, and a little bit chilly. It’s that peaceful moment you secretly treasure every day."
Those rare, quiet moments when you finally get to take a breath.
We hope this coffee gives you a moment to pause, rest, and let your mind wander—no matter where you are. Even if it's just at home.
